Peace, like a mighty river...

Take a deep breath. Loosen your shoulders, relax your jaw. Let your body remind you: it’s ok to just be present here.

Here in this moment: what does the voice of God sound like?

Welcome to your Meditation flow this week.

[ This practice is 18 mins long ]

“Never be afraid of the moments–thus sings the voice of the everlasting.” [Rabindranath Tagore]

This week ahead, may we each discover in a billion little different ways, that life right here is worth living. Let us breathe deep and live fully right here. This very space you are in, is shining with God’s glory. Each morning this week it rises from the east to greet you and say, You are my Beloved in whom I am well pleased.

So here's to approaching this week with openness. Openness to this practice: the daily practice of pursuing peace: peace like a river, like mighty ocean waves. Peace that passes all understanding like refreshing revitalising, life giving Living Water. Mighty and unmistakable like the roar of many waters filling you up with all you need, speaking over you the grace you need to face this week ahead.

Peace like a mighty river, let your soul drink deeply of His voice this week.

Here is your Yoga flow for the week.

[ This practice is 27 mins long ]

“Do not follow the ideas of others, but learn to listen to the voice within yourself. Your body and mind will become clear and you will realise the unity of all things.” [Dogen]

I love these words by Rumi: “The message behind the words is the voice of the heart.” God is a good God with a good heart towards you dear friend — never forget. And even while you are learning to live with all questions, when maybe you have not seen the goodness of the Lord like you thought you would, you are also learning to live with the grace to know it is still well. The message behind the words of God is the voice of His heart towards you.

We can never have all the answers. Each day every week there are a billion little unknowns about our life. In all those what ifs, Grace reminds you that even in the midst of it all, joy is as real as the light streaming through the leaves of the trees in these glorious autumn blue skies… even in the wildest, thickest part of the forest. Light still finds its way to you.

Affirmation practice this week:

[ Hands together in prayer, deep breath in ]

Come what may, it is well with my soul

Why not listen to this song during your Savasana

This week, may Grace be a strong yet loving current that carries you through the days. The ebb and flow of which gently whispers: “Everything is going to be ok.”

I hope you enjoyed your classes — see you, on your mat next week. Until then, go in peace, be well
